Serengeti National Park

Its vast plains surround the traveler, honoring his Maasai name «endless plains» offers a landscape of great beauty.

In Serengeti occurs one of the most impressive natural cycles of the Earth, where every year hundreds of thousands of ungulates move in search of new pastures into wetter lands.

During the rainy season from January to March ungulates enjoy the green pastures of the Serengeti soil. In April, the end of the rains, the migration begins northwestward across the Grumeti river, where crocodiles, towards the month of June, reaching the grasslands of the Masai Mara in August. This cycle will be completed with the return back to the Serengeti in the month of November in anticipation of the rains.

Another major attractions of the Serengeti is the emergence of life that occurs in the month of February, when more than 8,000 wildebeest calves may be born a day.

Its more than 14,763 square kilometers, home to a large density of predators, highlighting the lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and jackals. Without forgetting its more than 450 species of birds.
